Doug Carter, M.S. Ed.

Doug Carter had a twenty-four year career managing school transportation programs in the Hudson River Valley/ metropolitan New York City region. He worked in school districts large and small, urban and rural, and with contractor-provided and district-owned fleets. In many instances Doug was able to save districts 10-20% on their in-district busing costs during times of budgetary constraints by condensing routes. He provided further savings through use of shared and cooperative, out-of-district busing contracts with neighboring school districts and parents.
Doug Carter’s credentials also include being a School Transportation Professional, certified by the New York Association for Pupil Transportation, and a School Transportation Specialist, certified by the New York Association of School Business Officials.
