What you should know about transportation operations during weather events:

• Each individual school district makes its own decision as to whether or not to hold class on a day with questionable weather. Prismatic and the bus companies will monitor school districts for weather delays or cancellations.
• The bus companies will not provide transportation if:
  • If the school district of your child’s pick-up and drop-off location is closed due to weather.
  • If the district where your child’s school is located closes due to weather.
  • If school districts through which your child’s bus travels close. Buses may not drive through closed school districts.
• If a delay occurs there will be no transportation for half day AM children.
• If there is an early dismissal before your child is picked up, there will be no transportation for half-day PM.
• If your child’s bus travels through multiple districts and a district delays the whole bus route will be on a delay.
• If there is an early dismissal for the district where your child’s drop off location is or for any districts located between your child’s school and your child’s drop off location, your child will be transported early to their location of drop-off.
• If there is an early dismissal for the school district where your child’s school is located, your child will be transported early to their location of drop-off.
